Q. How will you ship my Neko Habitat™ pet products?

Our products ship via UPS (United Parcel Service) ground service, usually arriving in 5-8 business days. Expedited shipping is available for an extra fee.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Please refer to the shipping calculator in the check-out process. If your country is not available, please email us for individualized rates. Note that the web system auto generates prices for international shipping.

Q. What are your shipping charges?

On all our products, we offer a flat ground shipping rate of $7.95 within the continental USA (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). International orders do not qualify for a flat ground shipping rate and international customers are responsible for their respective country’s customs, taxes and import duties. Return shipping and any international import fees are not refundable.

Q. Where are your products made?

All Neko Habitat products are “Made in the USA.”

Q. Do you sell through any brick-and-mortar retail stores?

No. At present, our products are only available for purchase through our website.

Q. Do you only sell pet beds?

At present, we only offer beds and cushions for cats and small dogs. We will soon be offering other cool products such as feeding stations, perches, towers, wall climbers, scratching posts, etc. So, please check back with us periodically for news and updates in Neko Newsroom. Q. Is it easy to assemble?

There is no assembly required. All products arrive ready to be enjoyed.

Q. Are your pet furniture pieces sturdy?

Yes. Our pet beds are constructed out of a ¼ inch (6 mm) translucent acrylic frame with stainless steel legs / feet. They have a low center of gravity and were designed to be extremely sturdy, with a maximum weight-bearing load of 30 lbs (13.6 kg).

Q. Are your products easy to keep clean?

Yes. Wipe and clean the bed frame using a mild soap or dishwashing liquid and warm water with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge. The cushion is really easy to keep clean with periodic vacuuming. We recommend using a fabric lint roller for quick cleaning, and then use a clean rag and warm water with a very mild soap solution to spot clean. The cushion can also be machine washed cold (front loading only), gentle / delicate cycle, using a mild detergent. Re-fluff the cushion after washing and line or dry flat. No dryer, bleach, hot iron or open flame.

Q. Does the cushion fabric withstand pet scratching?

All our fabrics have been carefully chosen for durability and aesthetic appeal and will withstand normal pet wear and tear when used in the proper manner (i.e. for resting and sleeping). The cushions are NOT meant to replace your regular cat scratching pads or dog chewing toys. If you have an ambitious scratcher or chewer, the cushions can be replaced in a variety of patterns and colors. Please see Our Products link for available color / pattern choices and prices. Q. Are your products safe?

Yes. As devoted pet owners who use our own products, we take great care in selecting materials that are durable and safe. We combined sleek and eye-catching fabrics (including faux fur and lofted Poly-fil in the cushion) with exotic materials and stainless steel construction, engineered to deliver the perfect balance of quality, safety and a lifetime of durability. We do not use urethane foam in the cushion in case of accidental ingestion by “chewy” dogs and cats.

Q. How can I be sure my pet will like this furniture?

All our products have been eagerly tested and approved by our Neko Residents. However, some cats and dogs can be fickle and will not immediately appreciate their cool new furniture. Generally, cats and dogs need to be shown that the new piece of furniture is for them. Sometimes it can take a little time to adjust. We recommend that you introduce your pet to their new Neko Habitat products with positive reinforcements of praise, petting, treats and/or catnip so that they understand that it is for them.

Q. Your cushions are fabulous! Can I buy another one?

Yes. We sell additional cushions separately. Please see Our Products link for available color / pattern choices and prices.
